BERG Hydromechanical (SHR Series) Tool Clamping Systems

The innovative SHR system from BERG Spanntechnik is ideally suited for ultra-compact spindle designs. Unlike a conventional drawbar system, SHR does not use a Belleville spring to clamp. Instead, a proprietary mechanically self-locking system retains the tool. Clamping and unclamping is handled hydraulically or pneumatically. The system is available for HSK, Steep Taper and Capto.
