The BERG clamping force measuring system for the tool holders is designed for force measurement when the spindle is stationary! The measuring system consists of a handy sturdy display device in pocket calculator format and the measuring equipment required for the various application. The measured data can be transferred to any WIN 9x/NT PC via a serial standard inter face and represented in y/t. The measuring system includes a practical case for accommodating the display device, the measuring equipment, the charger and the connecting cable.

Sensing Device M-SKThe sensing devices M-SK measure the clamping forces in steep taper (SK) following DIN 6987/1, ISO 7388/1. The standard handheld display supports all different sensing cartridges. It needs just to fit the correct pull stud into the cartridge corresponding to the different standards (DIN, ANSI, JIS, MAS). Steep taper standards away from the DIN 6987/1, ISO 7388/1 may need special adapting pull studs.

Sensing Device M-HSKThe sensing devices M-HSK measure the clamping forces in hollow shaft tool holders (HSK) following DIN 69839. The standard handheld display supports all different
sensing cartridges.

Sensing Device M-CaptoThe sensing devices M-Capto measure the clamping forces in Coromant Capto tool holders. The standard handheld display supports all different sensing cartridges.

Machine-Integrated Drawbar Force Gauges

The machine-integrated drawbar force gauge automates drawbar force measurement. With a wireless force sensor stored in the tool changer, a machine can periodically automatically check the drawbar without stopping production. Drawbar force is returned to the machine control via a wireless receiver, automatically alerting the operator if insufficient force is detected.
