Easy to use
1. Place the master shank (C) into the Taper Check.
2. Adjust the two indicators (A) and (B) so they both read zero with the master shank.
3. Remove the master shank.
4. Place the tool holder to be tested into the Taper Check.
5. Simply take the reading from each indicator and find the difference between the two, (B) - (A), to detect shank wear.

<b>High Resolution:</b> Compatible with compact 3/8" stem indicators. <b>Indicators not included:</b> resolutions of 0.002mm and 0.0001 inch available from TAC Rockford.
<b>Portable:</b> Includes heavy-duty Fixture Base and a custom-fitted carrying case to keep your precision instrument protected in industrial environments.
<b>Flexible Calibration:</b> While the 430.100 Certified Taper Master is recommended, the system is designed to work with a "known good" tool holder for quick shop-floor referencing.
Please note that the taper inspection gauge will only check diameter on two planes on the taper. The gauge will not detect nicks or localized damage to the taper. We recommend using series 430.110 taper sleeve gauges in conjunction with the taper inspection gauge for this purpose.
