Retention Knobs

Adapt or use a steep taper gauge with any steep taper spindle. Some retention knobs are adapter plugs that allow the same gauge to be used in other steep taper spindles.

Taper Cleaning

It is recommended to have a clean spindle and tool holder taper interface before gauging and testing. Cleaning also maintains the longevity and condition of gauge equipment.
