Founded in 1991, TAC Rockford/Transatlantic Connection, Inc. provides products and engineering services designed to increase productivity and competitiveness of manufacturers.

Who we are

As a small company, we rely on highly skilled and knowledgeable people with diverse backgrounds. The majority of our technically-oriented staff comes from machine tool and related manufacturing.

Who our customers are

Most of our customers produce “metal products” for the automotive, aerospace, machine tool, and other diverse sectors.  Companies range from one-person shops to major corporations such as General Motors, Boeing, and Caterpillar. We have a growing international customer base as well, with customers in most European and Asian countries.

Where we are

We are located in Rockford, Illinois (near Chicago) in a renovated 1900s era building in Rockford's downtown River District. We chose this location because it is a great place to work and to make a commitment to the success of Rockford’s downtown community. Our commitment is ongoing - in 2013, we aquired a second building in downtown Rockford to expand our production and warehousing facilities.

Rockford is a vibrant community with big-city amenities and a small-town feel. The City of Rockford is surrounded by many attractive towns and villages, each with its own character and appeal.
