Technical Customer Service Specialist

As we continue to grow, we're looking for a dedicated and technically adept individual to join us as our Technical Customer Service Specialist.
This position includes substantial on-the-job training. We do not expect you to be familiar with everything we do from the start; instead, we encourage a willingness to learn and grow with us.
Job Description: As a Technical Sales Support Specialist at TAC Rockford, you will be a key part of our customer service and technical support team. Your role will involve handling customer inquiries, preparing quotes and proposals, and offering technical assistance throughout the sales process. You will also contribute to maintaining accurate product information on our website.

Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Interaction: Respond professionally to customer emails and phone calls, providing detailed product information and assistance.
- Quotes and Proposals: Prepare accurate customer quotes and proposals in a timely manner, asking insightful questions to better understand customer needs.
- Technical Assistance: Develop a strong understanding of TAC Rockford’s product offerings and provide both pre- and post-sales technical support, including troubleshooting and follow-ups.
- Website and Documentation Updates: Ensure product information, documentation, and descriptions on our website are current and accurate.
Desirable Experience / Background:
- Experience with mechanical or technical products in a similar company setting.
- Background in technical support or customer service in an office environment.
- Familiarity with CNC machines and mechanical components (e.g., motors, pumps, valves, and cylinders).
- An Associate or Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience.
- Global experience, including travel or foreign language skills, is a plus.

This position is full-time and in-person. Compensation based on skills and experience.
