Automatic Tool Holder Clamping Systems
BERG Spanntechnik is a recognized name in clamping system design. The company, based in Bielefeld, Germany, offers power drawbars, hydraulic tool clamping cylinders, tool grippers, pallet clamping systems, as well as other related components and systems.
BERG's product range includes clamping systems for standard taper as well as HSK taper machines in innumerable variants and special versions.
Hydro-mechanical
The innovative SHR system from BERG Spanntechnik is ideally suited for ultra-compact spindle designs. Unlike a conventional drawbar system, SHR does not use a Belleville spring to clamp. Instead, a proprietary mechanically self-locking system retains the tool. Clamping and unclamping is handled hydraulically or pneumatically. The system is available for HSK, Steep Taper and Capto.
Cylinders / Actuators
BERG Spanntechnik manufactures a complete range of specially-designed tool unclamp cylinders and actuators. Cylinders include the OHL/OHLK and SE/SEK lines (designed not to load spindle bearings), to the all-electric ESK actuators.
Accessories
Drawbar adapters, Pull Studs / Retention Knobs, fluid transmission systems, drawbar clamping force gauges, spring stacks, and other tool clamping accessories are available.
