BERG Stationary Clamping Systems

The hydraulic die clamping system, PSP...HB, is designed to automatically clamp tools at the press slide or on the table. In the "Unclamped" position, the tensioning rod is completely retracted into the clamping element and initially moved out of the clamping element when pressure is applied.

PDF Data Sheet: BERG Stationary Clamping Systems (293-PSP)

PSP ... W (AS-I)Electromechanical Clamping System Swing Out Style

Electromechanical PSP...W Clamp for die clamping on slides and blankholders. When unclamping the draw bar swings out up to 15 degrees max. The BUS controlled version PSP...W/AS-I with AS interface is available as an alternative.

PSP ... K (AS-I)Electromechanical Clamping System Rotational Style

Electromechanical PSP...K Clamp for die clamping on slides and blankholders. When unclamping the draw bar rotates by 90 degrees. The BUS controlled version PSP...K/AS-I with AS interface is available as an alternative.

PSP ... B (AS-I)Electromechanical Clamping System Pull-Back Rotational Style

Electromechanical PSP...B Clamp for die clamping on slides and for clamping of moving bolsters. When unclamping the draw bar rotates by 90° and withdraws by 120 mm max. The BUS controlled version PSP...B/AS-I with AS interface is available as an alternative.

PSP ... S (AS-I)Electromechanical Clamping System Gripper Style

Electromechanical PSP...S Clamp for die clamping on slides. When unclamping the collet opens in order to disengage the draw bolt of the die. The BUS controlled version PSP...S/AS-I with AS interface is available as an alternative.

PSP ... AT (AS-I)Electromechanical Moving Bolster Clamp Wedgebar Style

Electromechanical PSP...AT Clamp for clamping moving bolsters. When unclamping the clamping wedge withdraws into the clamp body. The BUS controlled version PSP...AT/AS-I with AS interface is available as an alternative.

PSP ... HTHydromechanical Clamping System Wedgebar Style

The hydromechanical clamping system PSP...HT is designed for clamping moving bolsters. The clamping slide generating the clamping force moves back into the housing after release.

PSP ... HWHydromechanical Clamping System Swing Out Style

Hydraulic, self-locking PSP...HW Clamp for die clamping on slides and blankholders. When unclamping the draw bar swings out up to 15 degrees max.

PSP ... HBHydromechanical Clamping System Pull-Back Rotational Style

The hydraulic die clamping system, PSP...HB, is designed to automatically clamp tools at the press slide or on the table. In the "Unclamped" position, the tensioning rod is completely retracted into the clamping element and initially moved out of the clamping element when pressure is applied. In the max. extended position, the hammer head automatically rotates into its clamping position (55 degrees) and executes the clamping stroke while being retracted. When the hammer head makes contact with the clamping surface, clamping pressure and thus clamping force is built up. For unclamping, the sequence is executed in the reverse order until the hammer head is completely retracted into the clamping element again and the tool can be changed.
