Basic Runout Arbor Storage Stands
The basic storage stand is designed for vertical storage of a runout arbor in a protected gauge closet, etc. (the taper is not protected). Stands are available upon request at no charge with runout arbor purchase. Stand is made of solid hardwood.

Heavy-Duty Runout Arbor Travel Cases
The runout arbor travel case is designed for portability while protecting arbors. The case holds two arbors, with additional space for extra retention knobs, indicator, and a magnetic base. The case is virtually indestructible and waterproof. Can be used with padlocks for added security.

Runout Arbor Upright Storage Cases
Our most popular case, the upright storage case protects a runout arbor from dirt and damage. The arbor rests vertically in the case, suspended from the flange. Upright storage of runout arbors is recommended
-- the upright case has foam guides that allow horizontal use if preferred. Case is available in tall and short configurations depending on arbor length. Case is made of 9 ply Baltic Birch.

Custom Case Services
TAC Rockford can custom manufacture a gauge case to your exact requirements. Let us know what gauges you want to include in the case, and how you plan to use the case. Customized cases are available in heavy duty plastic, standard duty plastic, and Baltic Birch plywood. Foam is milled for for exact fit and optimal protection of gauges.
TAC Rockford precision ball arbors have a special adjustment mechanism which allows the ball runout to the taper to be adjusted.
Arbors are factory-adjusted to <=0.005 mm (0.0002") runout. Runout adjustment fixtures are available for periodic verification and adjustment. A certificate of accuracy is included.
Gauge length is measured from the tool holder gauge line to the end of the ball. Please contact us for other ball diameters and gauge lengths. Inch dimensions are also available.
