Supply Chain Coordinator
Job Description
Ready to jump into the action? As a Supply Chain Coordinator at TAC Rockford, you’ll be a key player in making sure products flow seamlessly in and out of our operations. From purchasing and managing shipments to handling both domestic and international logistics, you’ll have your hands in a variety of tasks.
This is not your typical desk job. While you’ll spend some time in the office, you’ll also be on your feet, navigating the hands-on aspects of our day-to-day operations. The role requires multitasking, attention to detail, organizational skills, and clear communication to keep everything running smoothly. This role will require ability to lift products and packages of various sizes and weights.

Key Responsibilities
- Process customer orders
- Generate purchase orders
- Verify contents of incoming orders
- Prepare outgoing shipments
- Coordinate with shipping carriers
- Monitor inventory levels
- Collaborate with suppliers, customers, and team members to resolve discrepancies
- Maintain an organized and efficient work environment
- Work to fully understand customer needs
- Anything else that needs to get done (everyone needs to sweep the floor at some point)
Desirable Qualifications (preferred but not required)
- Prior experience in a similar role
- Familiarity with general office procedures and equipment
- Knowledge of common business documents (purchase orders, quotes, invoices, etc.)
- International awareness and foreign language skills
- QuickBooks accounting software experience
- An Associate or Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- An appreciation for all things mechanical
Employment Details
This position is full-time and in-person. Compensation is based on skills and experience. Health insurance is not provided.
