Technical Applications Specialist

TAC Rockford offers innovative products for machine tools to an international customer base. Our customers appreciate our technical expertise and unique solutions that are typically not available from other industrial suppliers. Most of our customers produce “metal products” for the automotive, aerospace, machine tool, and other diverse sectors. That said, the customer base ranges from guitar manufacturers to wind farms to municipal water treatment plants and everything in between — we never know who will contact us next. Customers range from small shops to major corporations such as Boeing, General Motors, GE, and Caterpillar.

Many products we provide are “engineered” solutions that require knowledge of machine tools. The Technical Applications Specialist is a mid level, technical position responsible for understanding our customers’ needs, resolving their issues while engineering, designing and assembling the products.

This position is best suited for a technically minded individual capable of designing, engineering and assembling the TAC product lines while also providing top notch customer service.
